INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS: OFFICIAL RULES: The contest began April 2 2009, so you better get to work!
Download & install the 2NQ4YQ font from the PIKsRZ page. Print or order a chart and learn Nooalf. Type a good original story and have someone else read it to help find spelling errors.
1. Winning stories must be original and have perfect spelling.
2. Because Nooalf spelling can vary with dialect, a phone conversation may be needed to varify that your dialect matches your spelling. Extra credit will be given for deliberate use of Nooalf to show dialects and accents. Broadcast quality American spelling may be used as a tie breaker.
3. Stories will be judged by entertainment value, style, structural quality.
4. 10 small children's size T-shirts (Hanes 100% preshrunk cotton) will be awarded. At least 3 top winners will also get their stories published on nooalf.com.
5. Stories must be suitable for young readers (rated P or PG).
6. Stories should be at least 1 page and less than 20, but will not be judged by this.
7. Contest finishes when 10 T-shirts have been awarded. Stories submitted afterward may be resubmitted in future contests.
8. Contest open to all ages.
9. Writers retain copywrite, but cannot demand removal from site.
